About DiNG
The people, the aims, the event
The Design and Innovation Nottingham Meetup was set up by Nottingham based consultancy Nightingale Design Research.
DiNG aims to provide a regular, informal, gathering for people working in the development of products and services to learn about design, innovation and research through practical talks and open discussion.
The aim for each meetup is that people will have an enjoyable time learning and supporting each other and gain at least one practical idea they can apply to their work.
At each event you can hear talks from inspirational guest speakers working in the design and innovation space.
There's always time for you to ask questions, discuss your ideas and make valuable connections over free drinks and pizza.
What to expect
DiNG begins informally with welcome drinks available from 18:30 - 19:00. Sign in, grab a drink, start conversations or find a seat ready for the talks.
19:00 First talk - each talks last about 20 minutes with plenty of time for discussion.
Fresh pizzas are served in the break - refuel and make connections with other attendees.
20:00 Second talk
20:40 - 9:30 ish - DiNG ends as informally as it begins. Everyone is welcome to stay for after hours drinks to continue conversations. If you need to head off that's fine too, we'll see you next time!
